The Bentonville Film Festival (BFF) today announced its film line up of gala selections and competition films with Joey Travolta's CAROL OF THE BELLS, and Haroula Rose's ONCE UPON A RIVER making their world premieres as Centerpiece Screening Selections. BFF will kick off with a screening of Tom Donahue's documentary THIS CHANGES EVERYTHING and a special presentation of the festival's signature event, Geena and Friends. Taking place May 7-11 in Bentonville, Arkansas, BFF is a one of a kind annual event that will celebrate 5-years of elevating diverse voices in all facets entertainment and media in partnership with founding sponsor Walmart and presenting sponsor Coca-Cola.

The 2018 Inaugural NAAP (National Asian Artists Project) Gala took place on December 2nd celebrating the 60th Anniversary of Rodgers & Hammerstein's groundbreaking musical 'Flower Drum Song'. Oddly enough, the most interesting personal observation to be pondered in Shatner's World: We Just Live In It is spoken, not by the titular William Shatner, but by Patrick Stewart.  In a television clip, a conversation between the two captains of the Starship Enterprise, Stewart explains how, despite his acclaim as a classical actor of the stage, he's quite certain that his role of Captain Jean-Luc Picard on Star Trek: The Next Generation, is what he will ultimately be remembered for.  And he's fine with that.

George Takei joins the cast of Nickelodeon's brand-new live-action comedy series, Supah Ninjas, one of five original series premiering on Nickelodeon in early 2011. Comic book in tone and cinematic in style, the half-hour series follows three unsuspecting kids who are drafted into the secret world of crime-fighting after Mike Fukanaga, an average high school student, discovers he is descended from a long line of ninjas. He is helped along the way by the spirit of his recently deceased grandfather (Takei), who appears to him and the team of 'Supah Ninjas' as an interactive hologram who offers guidance, wisdom and training. Picked up for 26 episodes, Nickelodeon will air a special preview of Supah Ninjas on Monday, January 17 at 9:00PM (ET/PT), following back-to-back premieres of the hit comedy series Victorious starring Victoria Justice.
