Tootsie officially opened last night, April 23! BroadwayWorld was there for the big night and you can check out photos of all the red carpet action below!

Just last night, the American Theatre Wing hosted its annual Gala at The Plaza Hotel (Fifth Avenue at Central Park South), honoring legendary actor James Earl Jones. Mr. Jones is a two-time Tony Award winner, two-time Obie Award winner and alumnus of the American Theatre Wing Professional School. CeCe Black, Anki Leeds, and Marva Smalls will serve as Gala Chairs.

The Pax Amicus Castle Theatre in Budd Lake opens the musical ONCE ON THIS ISLAND on Friday, July 31 at 8pm. ONCE ON THIS ISLAND also performs Saturdays; August 1, 8 and 15 at 8pm; Fridays, August 7 and 14 at 8pm and Sundays, August 2 and 9 at 2pm.
