BroadwayWorld has confirmed that a private reading was held last week for the Broadway-aimed musical Working Girl. The reading was presented Friday at Pearl Studios, and was presented by Cyndi Lauper, Theresa Rebeck and Christopher Ashley for producers Robyn Goodman, Josh Fiedler and Kumiko Yoshii.

Black-ish creator Kenya Barris will write and direct a reimagined version of the Wizard of Oz. Plot details for the new film are currently be kept under wraps, other than that it will be a 'modern reimagining' of the classic movie musical. The deal closed last week with Sheila Walcott overseeing for the studio.

The cast of the upcoming Netflix comedy The Bubble met for a photo call yesterday at the Four Seasons in Beverly Hills. The film is set to debut on April 1st. It is a comedy about a group of actors and actresses that are stuck inside a pandemic bubble at a hotel while they attempt to complete a sequel to an action franchise film about flying dinosaurs.
