Broken Nose Theatre, one of Chicago’s premier Pay-What-You-Can theatre companies, will continue its tenth season with the Chicago premiere of Zoe Kazan’s smart and incisive sci-fi drama After The Blast, directed by ensemble member JD Caudill.

Art Mulcahy releases his debut single 'Together We Survive' with a follow up Official Music Video release on May 1, 2021. The single, as well as full length album, was produced and mixed by Jonathan Smith [a.k.a. TheRealJonSmith], for Native South Records.

Random Acts has announced the schedule for this month's Digital Fringe Festival, RATFest! The Random Acts of Theatre Festival will stream to several channels each night, including Youtube and Facebook. Donations will be accepted, with proceeds going to The Actors Fund.

A mainstay of the Belmont Theater District, Mercury Theater Chicago's critically acclaimed production of AVENUE Q moves into its final weeks with a closing date of December 30. With incredible runs on the Mercury stage in 2014 and 2018, this lovingly revived Broadway musical comedy appealed to the heart and humor of more than 40,000 audience members, earning widespread critical acclaim with coverage from the Chicago Tribune, Chicago Sun Times, WTTW's "Chicago Tonight" and WGN Radio, and awards from Broadway World and the Joseph Jefferson awards, including 12 Broadway World Award nominations for the 2018 production. Today, The Hawk Chicago announced nominations for the inaugural Chicago Theatre Awards, a contest in which all winners are chosen entirely by audience vote. The first round, which invited write-in submissions, ended June 23rd. The official nominees were decided by almost 1,600 voters.
