Audrey Ross will present 'DANCES  I  LOVE' on April 29 at 7:30 PM and April 30 at 3 PM The Theatre at St. Jeans.

The Martha Graham Dance Company has announced its 95th season, which begins with a special Martha Matinee and the finale of The Eve Project on September 23. The season continues the Company's notable online programming bringing the groundbreaking, iconic work of Martha Graham to audiences around the world.

In this 2020 APAP Conference, the Nai-Ni Chen Dance Company will showcase the Company's three touring programs in City Center Studio 4 on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 8:30pm and Sunday, January 12, 2020 at 6:30pm at the Ailey Citicorp Theater. City Center Studio is located at 130 W 56th St (between Sixth and Seventh Avenues), New York, NY 10019. The Ailey CitiCorp Theatre is located at the lower level of 405 West 55th St, New York, NY 10019. Dancer/choreographer Deborah Zall, a well known dramatic dancer and choreographer trained at the Martha Graham School passed away of pneumonia on December 11th in New York City.

The Deborah Zall Project will present a program of works by legendary modern dance choreographers Jane Dudley, Sophie Maslow and Anna Sokolow, along with dances by Deborah Zall, May 12 & 13 at 8 PM at the Martha Graham Studio Theater, 55 Bethune St.   Zall has gathered an ensemble of artists, all former members of the Martha Graham Dance Company, to perform these timeless works that have been reconstructed by Abigail Blatt, Lynn Frielinghaus, Samantha Geracht, Martin Lofsnes, and Zall.

After receiving a record-breaking 145 submissions from the top national and international voices in contemporary dance, CONDER/dance announces its final selection of artists who will be featured at the 2017 Breaking Ground Contemporary Dance Festival.

Tome Cousin is an interdisciplinary artist who has molded an award winning international career that includes collaboration and performance on Broadway, television, film, dance, theater, music, photography, and literature. He holds a Bachelors of Arts in Dance History and Choreography and a Masters of Fine Art in New Media Art and Performance. He is an Associate Professor of Dance at the Carnegie Mellon University School of Drama.

Deborah Zall (www.deborahzall.com) left the Martha Graham fold to pursue an independent career as a soloist, creating dramatic portrayals of women that are based primarily on works of dramatic literature. Her signature pieces include dances inspired by female characters drawn from Eugene O'Neill, Edna St. Vincent Millay, Tennessee Williams and F. Garcia Lorca. Last year, she was convinced to re-stage six of her classic female solos for past and present Martha Graham Dance Company members. The resulting evening, titled 'The Deborah Zall Project: In the Company for Women,' was mounted as an informal presentation in the Martha Graham Studio Theater in Westbeth. It proved so sensational that Ms. Zall was pressed to remount the evening this year as a full production. This time, it'll be done with four of her own pieces plus two complimentary works drawn from the Anna Sokolow Company. The concert will bear the same name and will be presented May 13 and 14, again at the Martha Graham Studio Theater, by Zall's nonprofit company, Classic Contemporary Dance Heritage Ltd.

The Deborah Zall Project presents both current and former members of the Martha Graham Dance Company in 'In the Company of Women, and Guests,' an evening of dances by Zall, along with the solo Robot Man choreographed by guest Kenneth Topping, former principal dancer and director of the Graham Dance Company.
