Artistic Director of Theatr Clwyd, Tamara Harvey and Executive Director, Liam Evans-Ford today announce the world première production of brand-new musical The Famous Five in a co-production with Chichester Festival Theatre will open at Theatr Clwyd on 29 September with previews from 23 September.

Founded in 1976, the National Youth Music Theatre exists to create opportunities and provide training for young people, interested in the world of musical theatre. The Lyric Hammersmith today announces full casting for its Christmas show, Aladdin. The Lyric's annual panto returns when Aladdin flies into Hammersmith on his magic carpet for some festive fun in true Lyric style. Fresh for 2016, the show will be full of colourful characters, live music, lots of laughs and of course the magical Genie.

Rehearsal images are released today for the Kenneth Branagh Theatre Company's THE ENTERTAINER, the final production in the year-long Plays at the Garrick season. The production will play at the Garrick from 20 August until 12 November, with press night on 30 August. National Youth Music Theatre will present an exciting season of work for summer 2014, including a new commission to commemorate the centenary of the outbreak of the Great War. Grace Bishop, Nicola Kill, and Rosie Watson will take on the titular role of Greta, Annie Kirkman makes her professional debut as the manipulative Fay, they will be joined by Sam Turrell as Tony, Michael Rees as Reg/Fred, Melissa Hovelle as Rita, Will Mulvey as Gregory Hampton M.P, Chelsea Corfield as Ute and Paul Brangan as Norm. The production will run today, 31st July - 26th August (not 13th) : 21:35 (1hr10) | C (venue 34).
