In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, The Fugard Theatre announces its suspension of operations from 29 March until 1 June 2020, following the completion of the MASTER HAROLD AND THE BOYS run and scheduled MOFFIE screenings.

The latest play by Tony Award winning playwright Athol Fugard and Paula Fourie will have its world premiere in Stellenbosch in April.

Raising the comedy stakes, the second season of the hybrid family sitcom/improvisation series 'Just Roll With It' is set to premiere SUNDAY, MARCH 15 (8:45 p.m. EDT/PDT), on Disney Channel and DisneyNOW. Comedian J.C. Currais becomes a series regular cast member, in the fan-favorite role of Gator, and John Ratzenberger (Disney/Pixar's 'Toy Story,' 'Cheers') guest stars in a recurring role as Blair's grandfather. The season also includes 'wild' animals, real-life wedding vows with legal matrimony as part of a storyline and feats of epic proportions. The studio audience votes for wacky scenarios that the cast must improvise their way through during the show taping. Additional season two guest stars include Charles Shaughnessy ('The Magicians,' 'The Nanny'), Johnny Pemberton ('Superstore'), Jason Earles (Disney's 'Hannah Montana'), Debra Wilson ('MADtv'), Jillian Shea Spaeder (Disney's 'Walk the Prank') and Kingston Foster (Disney's 'ZOMBIES').

Disney Channel has picked up a second season of the unique new comedy 'Just Roll With It' and entered into an overall development deal with its creators and executive producers, Adam Small and Trevor Moore, to write and produce programming for Disney Channel and Disney+. Production on season two will commence in September.

Increasing the degree of both comedy and complexity, Disney Channel will present 'Just Roll With It: You Decide LIVE!,' an interactive, live telecast of 'Just Roll With It,' a series which stands apart for its blend of scripted and improvisational comedy, on FRIDAY, OCT. 4 (9:00 p.m. EDT/6:00 p.m. PDT). During the Halloween-themed special—the first of its kind for the channel—viewers nationwide can join the studio audience in the fun of determining plot twists in real-time. As viewers watch the special LIVE on Disney Channel, they will be able to vote on certain elements of the show via the DisneyNOW app or DisneyNOW.com—and, as they do in each episode, the talented cast will improvise and just roll with it … live!

Breaking through the pack, the ambitious new series 'Just Roll With It' blends improvisational comedy with a family sitcom to seize an audacious opportunity that allows the studio audience to vote on the direction of key scenes, throughout the filming, while the actors are backstage. When the actors return to the stage, they have no idea what's coming at them. A feat of planning and physical production each episode, the comedy series was created and is executive produced by Adam Small and Trevor Moore (Disney's 'Walk the Prank') with a production crew led by Skot Bright (Disney's 'Walk the Prank'). 'Just Roll With It' will be previewed FRIDAY, JUNE 14 (9:45-10:15 p.m. EDT/PDT), before its official premiere WEDNESDAY, JUNE 19 (8:00-8:30 p.m. EDT/PDT), on Disney Channel and DisneyNOW.

The cast has been announced for Liv Warden's debut play at the Old Red Lion which explores a different perspective of the Time's Up movement. The provocative and timely Anomaly will star Natasha Cowley (Othello, Shakespeare's Globe; Connections 2018, National Theatre; The Last Days of Anne Boleyn, The Tower of London) and making their professional theatre debuts Alice Handoll and Katherine Samuelson. Post-Weinstein, Anomaly is a story that is ready to be told.

Disney Channel has ordered 'Just Roll With It,' an innovative multi-camera sitcom from co-showrunners Adam Small and Trevor Moore (Disney XD's 'Walk the Prank'). The first-of-its-kind format is a hybrid of a scripted family comedy and an improvisational comedy, in which the studio audience members select the outcome of certain scenes while the cast just rolls with it.

The Old Red Lion Theatre has announced its autumn/winter season, which includes seven new plays. The London pub theatre also sees the return of the annual London Horror Festival, which has been extended to four weeks due to popular demand.

Kinnes, one of South Africa's highly anticipated theatre productions is set to wow audiences at the Artscape Theatre in April 2018. It will enjoy a short run at next month's Klein Karoo Nasionale Kunstefees in Outdshoorn, before making its theatrical debut in The Mother City.

HOT LIPS AND COLD WAR is a brand new sophisticated musical play set in the White House during the 1960s - a time of the Cold War, civil rights, protest movements, social and class unrest and the evolving musical revolution. Directed by Tim McArthur, the unusual filmic inspired interpretation of one of the most fascinating love stories in history is set to captivate audiences.  President John F. Kennedy, First Lady Jackie Kennedy and Marilyn Monroe return to the White House in style!  

A trio of popular comedy series for kids age 6-14 have received third season orders -- Disney Channel's 'Stuck in the Middle' from executive producer Linda Videtti Figueiredo, 'BUNK'D' from executive producer Pamela Eells O'Connell and Disney XD's 'Walk the Prank' from executive producers Adam Small and Trevor Moore. Production on each will resume in the fall.

Even the toughest heart of stone will turn into a paper heart with Liam O'Rafferty's new musical. After winning over audiences in 2016 during Edinburgh Fringe Festival with its 75-minute version, the show has now grown in a two-act, fully developed, heartwarming, and uplifting piece of theatre directed by Tania Azevedo.
