SEEKING

Experienced performers with strong acting and singing abilities are needed. Strong dancing abilities are required.

PREPARATION

Please prepare a song appropriate to the style of show. Please bring sheet music; an accompanist will be provided. No recorded music or a cappella allowed. A current headshot and résumé are required.

MAGGIE – 25. Has an honesty, softness, simplicity. High belt.

MIKE - 24. Italian, street-wise. Tenor. Tap and acrobat a plus.

CONNIE - 32. Asian-American - Sensitive about her size. Needs to be SHORT - 4’10”.

GREG - 32. Knows who he is, and proud of it. Has great dignity and flair.

CASSIE - 32. Ex-girlfriend of Zach, Womanly, has star quality. Excellent triple threat.

SHEILA - 29. Ex-showgirl, yet ballet trained. Tough exterior, Aging, and can be sarcastic. Statuesque.

BOBBY – 25. Optimist, mischievous, funny, clever.

BEBE - 26. Confident, eager, newcomer to NY – enthusiastic with a determination.

JUDY - 28. A ditz, speaks before she thinks, off the wall, kooky.

RICHIE – 27. African-American, confident, enthusiastic, proud, energetic.

AL - 30. Macho, aggressive, street tough, married, adores his wife. From the Bronx. Tenor.

KRISTINE - 22. Married to Al, good dancer, can't sing. Nervous, a beauty, dependent on her husband.

VAL - 25. Funny, sexy, Sure of herself, knows what she wants. Ambitious. Strong belt.

MARK - 20. Young, eager, innocent, naive, all-American. Not terrified or shy. Sincere.

PAUL - 28. Secretive, shy, introvert, sensitive. Strong dancer, Hispanic. Tenor.

DIANA - 27. Passionate, confident, appealing energy. Latin fire. spunky. Hispanic. Determined. Excellent singer.

ZACH - Director-Choreographer, authoritative, driven. Manipulative, powerful. Confident, direct.

LARRY - Zachs' assistant. Strong dancer, can take over with authority. Responsible.
