All roles available for all listed shows except SCROOGE IN LOVE (Seeking ensemble only; all principal roles are cast). See breakdown.
PREPARATION
Please prepare approx. one minute each of two contrasting numbers from the musical theatre canon. Provide sheet music in the proper key. No a capella, no pre-recorded accompaniments.

MERRILY WE ROLL ALONG will be both the 1934 play and the 1981 musical, presented in repertory with the same actors.

HOT MIKADO
Note: seeking a fully ethnically diverse cast for this show. All should be able to sing in a 1930s-40s hot jazz or swing style.
Mikado: 40-50, tenor. Showman, the big cat. Should tap.
Nanki-Poo: 20s, tenor. Fresh-faced rock crooner. Trumpet playing a plus.
Yum-Yum: 18-30, soprano. Sincere, honest.
Pitti-Sing: 20-30, mezzo. Matter-of-fact, a little brash.
Peep-Bo: 18-28, mezzo. Cynical, sarcastic.
Pish-Tush: 20s-30s, tenor. Rash, too cool for his own good.
Ko-Ko: 30-50, tenor. All-around nice guy.
Poo-Bah: 30-50, bartione/tenor. Clever, selfish.
Katisha: 30-40. alto/mezzo. Spurned femme fatale.
Ensemble: 20s and up, all types. Dancers/strong movers and part-singers.
SCROOGE IN LOVE
Ensemble: 20s-50s. All voice ranges. Good character actors, strong movers.

Montague Monty Navarro: 30s, high baritone. Clever, charming, endearing.
Miss Shingle: 20s'-30s, soprano. Mysterious visitor.
Sibella Hallward: 20s-30, soprano. The girl Monty loves.
Phoebe D'Ysquith: 20s-30s, soprano. Monty's cousin.
The D'Ysquith Family: baritone. One actor to play nine male and female roles.
Ensemble: 20s and up, great character actors/singers. All play multiple roles.
THE PAJAMA GAME
Sid Sorokin: 30s, high baritone. Proud, strong-willed, charming.
Babe WIlliams: 25-30s, mezzo. Strong, feisty but sensitive.
Hines: 30s-40s, baritone. Jealous but with a kind heart.
Gladys: 20s-30s, mezzo. Flirty, fun. Excellent Fosse-style dancer.
Prez: 30s-40s, tenor. Naïve but determined, a little goofy.
Mabel: 30s-50s, mezzo. Earnest but occasionally crass.
Hasler: 40s-60, non-singing. Demanding, uptight.
Pop: 45-60, non-singing. Kind, understanding.
Ensemble: 20s-30s, strong actor/singers/movers, some must be excellent jazz or Fosse-style dancers.

Beth Spencer: 25-35, mezzo. Naïve, insecure, hopeless romantic.
Charley (musical)/Jonathan (play): 25-40, tenor. Stubborn, intense optimist.
Franklin (musical)/Richard (play): 25-40, tenor. Talented, handsome, misled, tormented. Piano a plus.
Gussie: 25-35, alto/mezzo. Greedy, seductive.
Joe: 35-50, high baritone. Big-talking Broadway producer.
Mary (musical)/Julia (play): 30-45, mezzo. Sardonic, bitter, witty.
Meg: 18-25, mezzo. Starry-eyed, naïve, ambitious.
Ensemble: 20s-50s, all voice ranges. Good character actors, some should be strong movers/dancers.
