IM SO EXCITED FOR THIS. It's my favorite show and this will be the first time that I'm seeing it live! I'm nervous and excited and feel extremely sorry for whoever is sitting next to me because this show makese cry like no other. I bought the last first row ticket for opening night!
Signature is uber expensive but some of their stuff is beyond amazing! Their Witches of Eastwick was brilliant!
"Whenever I get gloomy with the state of the world, I think about the arrivals gate at Heathrow Airport. General opinion's starting to make out that we live in a world of hatred and greed, but I don't see that. It seems to me that love is everywhere. Often it's not particularly dignified or newsworthy, but it's always there - fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, husbands and wives, boyfriends, girlfriends, old friends. When the planes hit the Twin Towers, as far as I know none of the phone calls from the people on board were messages of hate or revenge - they were all messages of love. If you look for it, I've got a sneaky feeling you'll find that love actually is all around."
Yes but for the theater and what it does and the size and everything -- i find it a little expensive... and they do not have three prices it is usually one cost for all seats. (maybe two)

Brynn O'Malley, who I think will be GREAT, understudied Dot/Marie in the last revival (and, I believe, played one of the Celestes). Does anyone know if she ever went on?
She'll be great. And adamgreer you can try and convince me but I've seen him in Road Show and One Arm. And both times he was just serviceable at best. And his voice isn't strong.
Not a strong voice? I think Stephen Sondheim who cast him in Road Show would disagree with that statement. I think he will be superb George. Not overwrought like some of the more recent ones in my memory.
I love this video of him singing "The Best Thing That Ever Happened" from ROAD SHOW.
GetUp&LiveIt I think you're correct, it doesn't seem like he won't overdue this part. His voice is very light and that reminds me of Mandy Patinkin so I'm happy!
PLEASE report back. I'm (likely) taking a dear friend of mine and I consider this my last, best effort to get her into musical theater (previous failures: Millie, Company, Hair, If/Then).
She is a major art enthusiast and loves Seurat...I hope this one actually works!
I most definitely will! I live about an hour south of DC so I won't be able to post anything until a little later but I promise to post as soon as I get back (and then unfortunately get up at 2:30AM to get ready for work).
I have a feeling she will love it (very different style from the ones she has already seen).
