Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater announces its lineup of Winter classes featuring classes catered to families, theater lovers, students, adults and emerging theater artists. The Voices of Now Mead Ensemble for young artists will begin this winter, meeting virtually to contribute to a new original film. Just in time for the holidays, this robust line of programming has something for everyone and makes the perfect unique gift for the theater lover in your family.
Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater has announced its Fall/Winter Looking Forward Season featuring more than 70 virtual events and programs to engage with and respond to audiences in Washington, D.C-metropolitan region and nationally.
Incoming Artistic Director Simon Godwin today announces Shakespeare Theatre Company's 2019-2020 Season. Godwin's debut season highlights his artistic aspirations for the company to create high quality, exciting, inclusive theatre. Godwin states, This is not my season, but ours, everybody's season.

Arena Stage is alive as a center for American theater. The Artistic Development Department operationalizes the artistic vision and mission of Arena by stewarding the current season and imagining and building a robust pipeline for a bright artistic future for the company and field. Guided by the vision of Artistic Director Molly Smith, and funded in part by Arlene and Robert Kogod, our American Voices programs and initiatives focus on advancing artists and audiences.
