For the second time in the year the Microtheater Venezuela arrives at the spaces Urban Cuplé that during the last seasons has adopted this great festival of the scenic arts which congregates thousands of assistants each time that it is summoned from several parts of Venezuela. Again the drama, comedy, suspense, terror, absurdity and, if that were not enough, the country situation that does not escape entertainment, a fact that is undeniable and that is present in several of the thirty proposals that are on the billboard. .

We had the opportunity to speak with his organizer the famous Director of Venezuelan Theater Dairo Piñeres, who took stock of this important event that brings together the artistic theater family and entertainment in the City of Caracas, Capital of Venezuela.

DZ ¿Dairo why has Microtheater Venezuela become so important?

DP: Because it is one of the events that has more acceptance within the Caracas theater, almost five years doing two to three seasons, the acceptance of the public has been wonderful, the public has understood the fifteen minute code (duration of each staging) and theater makers have understood how to work for fifteen minutes. Coming to season number thirteen is a success for all the team that organizes it and above all it is important in Venezuela for the simple fact of making a single season is very difficult any event, it is also important because theater workers are committed to the scenic fact of the micro theater. The novelty for this new season is that there are thirty different shows, the public will always be able to enjoy new works and new castings, especially playwrights speaking to the country since within what is presented in micro theater is the country, as well as the drama , the comedy for that there is the micro theater to see society, to analyze it

DZ During our assistance to several of the plays we have appreciated a lot of hyperrealism, is part of a requirement that is made to the creators?

DP We do not demand neither the authors nor the directors, that has to do with the creators of the country is something that everyone wants to say that does not happen in the media that are biased and the theater is not set, we can still say things, we can denounce things in front of the artistic; It has always been that way since the Greeks until now. In this opportunity the denunciation has been seen but it has been for the moment that crosses the South American nation.

DZ What is the difference between the Microtheater Venezuela and the other countries?

DP What I rescue in this microtheater that does not happen in other countries is that it is a great party where many people meet again, it seems when I received classes twenty or twenty-five years ago, I agree that I had the international theater festival that was a window of the world in Venezuela specifically in Caracas the whole city stopped -I would like to live that again- that we are seeing in microtheater for a smaller scale position, evidently as a micro festival, we meet journalists, with friends, with the actors, with the makers, with the audience and that meeting is wonderful

DZ How do you see the microtheater in the medium term?

DP I think theater makers are convinced and betting on the country I believe that whatever happens we will be doing a theater day after day with more impetus

DZ How do you see theater in Venezuela?

DP With few resources with no resources but with a lot of creativity and in relation to the artistic talent I see that it is emerging as well as a new wave of creators that will take the country forward being a great opportunity for all
