The 22nd annual National Dance Week (NDW) St. Louis is set to kick off on Saturday, April 27th, at Grand Center Arts District, located at Washington and Grand. The FREE outdoor event will begin at Noon - 5:00 and will feature the 2019 NDW Honorary Dance Company, Karlovsky & Company Dance.Over 50 dance troupes and hundreds of dancers including The Big Muddy Dance Company, MADCO 2, WU Dance Collective, Webster University, Ashleyliane Dance Company and Missouri Contemporary Ballet.NDW features different cultural expressions of dance including ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop, modern disciplines, as well as Chinese, African, Middle Eastern, and Indian.The event will also host a variety of food trucks. In the event of inclement weather, the event will be held at the Third Baptist Church at the corner of Washington and Grand using the Washington Street entrance.

Fox Performing Arts Charitable Foundation (FoxPACF) is pleased to announce the Preliminary round of the 10th Annual St. Louis Teen Talent Competition will take place February 8 & 9 with 119 performers taking the stage. This year entries represent 60 schools and 7 home schoolers in the bi-state metropolitan area (45 MO / 15 IL). A complete list of students/schools can be found here. The acts showcase a diverse array of talents including musicians, composers, singers, actors, dancers, musical theatre performers, bands, and specialty acts that include, aerial arts, acrobatics, contortionists, a juggler, and a beatboxer.

9th Annual St. Louis Teen Talent Competition Chooses 15 High School Acts for Final Event

On Saturday, March 9th, 45 metro area high school acts competed in the Semi-final round of the 9th Annual St. Louis Teen Talent Competition.  St. Louis performing arts professionals judged the performances and narrowed the field to 15 acts (24 individuals) who will move on to the finals on Saturday, April 13th at 8pm at The Fabulous Fox Theatre (a list of acts can be found here).  In addition to the thrill of performing on the Fox Stage, contestants are eligible to win college scholarships, prizes and performance opportunities.  'We couldn't be happier with the level of talent. The students seem to get better and better each year,' exclaimed Mary Strauss, Fox Performing Arts Charitable Foundation Board President Emeritus.  The final competition is a professionally produced production that is FREE and open to the public.  General Admission tickets are required and available now at no charge at The Fabulous Fox box office and through Metrotix.

Fox Performing Arts Charitable Foundation's (FoxPACF) 9th Annual St. Louis Teen Talent Competition moves on to its Semi-Final round Saturday, March 9, 2019.  Forty-five high school acts will take the stage at Kirkwood High School to select the final acts that will compete onstage at The Fabulous Fox Theatre on Saturday, April 13th.

Fox Performing Arts Charitable Foundation (FoxPACF) is pleased to announce that the preliminary round of the 9th Annual St. Louis Teen Talent Competition will take place on February 2 & 3, 2019 with 141 performers taking the stage in the first round of competition (a complete list of students/schools can be found here). "We are thrilled with the ongoing response to this event from students, parents, arts organizations and the community.  The Fox Performing Arts Charitable Foundation is happy to be able to provide the opportunity for students to perform at the Fox and on other stages around St. Louis. We're delighted that we are able to put talented young people in the spotlight," said Mary Strauss, St. Louis Teen Talent Competition creator, as well as FoxPACF Founder and President Emeritus of the FoxPACF Board of Directors.
