The epic story returns. Tony Kushner's two-part play, ANGELS IN AMERICA makes its way back to Broadway tonight! A cast led by Tony nominee Andrew Garfield and two-time Tony winner Nathan Lane will begin previews tonight at the Neil Simon Theatre with Part 1: Millennium Approaches. The Old Globe today announced the complete cast and creative team of the Globe-commissioned world premiere adaptation of The Imaginary Invalid written by Moliere and reinvented by the acclaimed theatre group Fiasco Theater. Fiasco last delighted Globe audiences with their inventive reimagining of Into the Woods in 2014. This new take on the hilarious classic tale is directed by Fiasco Co-Artistic Directors Jessie Austrian and Noah Brody.

Richmond Ballet returns to The Joyce Theater for the first time since 2010 to perform four NY premieres from the more than 60 works commissioned by the Company since its inception. Under the 37-year leadership of founder Stoner Winslett – one of the longest tenured artistic directors of a major American ballet company and one of the few women in this position – Richmond Ballet has grown into one of the most respected midsized companies, presenting its body of works around the world. For their 2017 New York season, the Company has selected pieces by four gifted choreographers including Chinese-born Ma Cong, Warsaw-born and New York-resident Katarzyna Skarpetowska, San Francisco-based Val Caniparoli, and Richmond Ballet's Artistic Associate, Malcolm Burn.

Road Less Traveled Productions (RLTP) is excited to announce a public development reading of Archduke, a world-premiere play by its 2016 National Playwright Resident Rajiv Joseph. A staged reading of the play will be presented on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at 7:30PM at Buffalo State College's Flexible Theater.

Classic Stage Company, under the leadership of Artistic Director Brian Kulick and Managing Director Jeff Griffin, today announced that acclaimed actors (and married couple) Becky Ann Baker (currently featured on "Girls") and Dylan Baker (currently featured on "The Americans") have joined the cast of its upcoming production of Henrik Ibsen's PEER GYNT, directed by Tony Award winner John Doyle, who becomes the company's new Artistic Director in July. 

Parsons Dance, under the artistic direction of David Parsons, will present a season of premieres and favorites at The Joyce Theater from January 20 – January 31. Parsons Dance will perform a New York City premiere by choreographer David Parsons, along with a world premiere from former Parsons dancer and rising choreographer Katarzyna Skarpetowska. Roundabout Theatre Company's production of Joe Masteroff, John Kander and Fred Ebb's Tony winning musical Cabaret, starring Tony Award-winner Alan Cumming and Golden Globe-winner Michelle Williams, begins previews tomorrow, Friday March 21. Marin Theatre Company continues its 2013-14 Season with a holiday production of Jacob Marley's Christmas Carolby Tom Mula, who was inspired to rehab A Christmas Carol, the annual theatrical standby, after performing the role of Scrooge onChicago stages for nearly a decade. Due to brisk ticket sales, MTC has extended this 'thoroughly charming holiday treat' (Daily Herald) by eight performances. Directed by Jon Tracy, who helmed last year's hit It's a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play, and featuring actorsKhris Lewin (A Steady Rain), Rami Margron (debut), Nicholas Pelczar (The Whipping Man) and Stacy Ross (God of Carnage), the production will run during the holiday season for 36 performances, from November 21 through December 22. Opening night is Today, November 26. Based in Mill Valley, MTC is a 47-year old professional nonprofit theater that is a destination for exhilarating performances, inspired new American plays and powerful theatrical experiences.
