Based on the novel Moby Dick by Herman Melville.

Renowned for their celebrated, hilarious Beckett prose productions, Gare St. Lazare Players Ireland take on one of the greatest novels ever written: Herman Melville’s Moby Dick. Performed by Conor Lovett (Best Actor at 2010 Irish Times Theatre Awards) with musical accompaniment by Caoimhin O’Raghallaigh, this gripping solo performance follows Captain Ahab on his journey of revenge in pursuit of the titular white whale. Told from the perspective of Ishmael—who signs up on Ahab’s ship, The Pequod—this is an adventure story of biblical proportions. The Irish Examiner raves, “Moby Dick is a must-see. Lovett holds us spellbound as he captures the humor as well as the wisdom of Melville.”
