ArtsWest will produce the 2023 Pulitzer Prize winning play ENGLISH by Sanaz Toossi. This co-production with Seda Iranian Theatre Ensemble will be directed by Seda co-founder, Naghmeh Samini.
The season features new projects by Meg Foley (PHL), Amy O'Neal (LA), Alyza Delpan-Monley (SEA), and our next cohort of Pacific Northwest-based artists.
This summer, The Williams Project launches a sumptuous and audacious theatrical experiment, Champagne + Sodomy: The Art and Crime of Oscar Wilde, with a two-week-only developmental workshop production.
ArtsWest will present the final show in its 2022-23 Season: BEGIN IT – Hedwig & the Angry Inch (by John Cameron Mitchell with music and lyrics by Stephen Trask). This groundbreaking rock musical will return to the ArtsWest stage after five years with its original star, Nicholas Japaul Bernard in the iconic role of Hedwig.
