18th and Union Arts Space, Mampsh Productions, and Starstrewn Productions present the world premiere production of Overcoming, a collection of short plays by womxn playwrights. Running October 10 a?" 14 and 17 a?" 19 at 18th and Union Arts Space (1406 18th Avenue), Overcoming showcases work by up-and-coming playwrights as well as Seattle favorites of the stage.
Pieces of Her, a one-person show about struggling to find your way as a child actress and adult artist, is going up at The Pocket Theater on April 19, 2019. The 60-minute, semi-autobiographical play is written and performed by actress, singer, songwriter Sara Carbone. In the play Sara brings to life over a dozen characters through speaking, singing, dancing and clowning, almost entirely without instruments.
