The Goodman's are a perfectly normal everyday family. Dad's an architect, Mom rushes to pour cereal and pack lunches, their teenage kids are bright, wisecracking teens. And yet, their lives are anything but normal because the mother has been battling manic depression for years. In this "feel everything" masterpiece, Ghostlight Productions takes audiences into the minds and hearts of each character, as the Goodman's try to come to terms with a long buried family secret, mental health, growing up, love, and finding a light in the dark. Featuring a gorgeous and unforgettable pop/rock score, this haunting and darkly funny musical explores the lengths to which we'll go to keep ourselves sane and our families in place.
