Asolo Repertory Theatre has been awarded an additional $70,000 Arts Appreciation Grant from Gulf Coast Community Foundation. The grant is intended to help the theatre fulfill its mission during the unprecedented challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Asolo Rep announced today that it is suspending all public performances and related events for the remainder of the 2019-20 season due to growing global concern around the COVID-19 pandemic. Originally scheduled to run through June 28th, the canceled productions include The Great Leap, Knoxville, Hood and Snow White.
In accordance with the latest recommendations from local and state governments regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19), Asolo Rep has cancelled the entire run of THE GREAT LEAP (originally scheduled March 18-April 11), in addition to all remaining performances of THE LIFESPAN OF A FACT (originally scheduled through March 19) and INTO THE BREECHES! (originally scheduled through March 21).
In accordance with the latest recommendations from the CDC regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19), effective immediately, Asolo Rep is cancelling all remaining performances of INTO THE BREECHES! and THE LIFESPAN OF A FACT.
Asolo Repertory Theatre and the FSU/Asolo Conservatory for Actor Training have announced their 2019-20 seasons on March 25.
