With Random, the company he founded more than 20 years ago, prodigiously gifted choreographer Wayne McGregor rocketed to world acclaim by fusing contemporary ballet and modern dance with cutting-edge technology. In the stunning, hour-long piece FAR, a superb score by Brian Eno-collaborator Ben Frost and jaw-dropping visuals, including a computerized pin board of 3,200 LED lights, are the catalysts for “blazing, mysterious” (The Observer, U.K.) movement exploration.
