TheatreWorks Silicon Valley has set the casting for its 20th Anniversary New Works Festival, a unique program that offers an extraordinary opportunity for audiences to experience new plays and musicals in their early stages of development.

This unique festival returns to Palo Alto's Lucie Stern Theatre with its extraordinary opportunity for audiences to experience new plays and musicals in their early stages of development and see their evolution over multiple performances.
TheatreWorks Silicon Valley has announced its 53rd season to be presented October 2023 through June 2024.
Crowded Fire Theater (CFT) announces the return of its Matchbox Reading Series, featuring new plays by lily gonzales, Humaira Ghilzai & Bridgette Dutta Portman, Eugenie Chan, and CFT's 2021-23 Resilience & Development (R&D) Lab playwrights Star Finch, A-lan Holt, Maria Jenson, and Lisa Marie Rollins. This year's Matchbox is presented in partnership with Golden Thread Productions, Shotgun Players, and Playwrights Foundation, with support from the Gerbode Foundation.

TheatreWorks Silicon Valley announced its 52nd season, featuring six plays and musicals to be presented November 2022 through August 2023. Three of the season's productions will be mounted at the Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts, and three will be staged at Palo Alto's Lucie Stern Theatre. Subscriptions are now available; single tickets will be available in the coming months at TheatreWorks.org.
An original piece written by San Francisco resident Justin P. Lopez, “The Re-Education of Fernando Morales” will have a one night only staged reading on Saturday, August 20th.
In celebration of the beginning of Pride Month, New Conservatory Theatre Center is ecstatic to announce our new Director in Residence for our astounding 2022-23 Season, Richard A. Mosqueda. Mosqueda's relationship with NCTC began as a director for Prince Gomolvilas' Outspoken, a touring YouthAware production, and continued with their fearless work on virtual productions A Might Queer Virtual Variety Show and TransNational Cabaret.
