Ann Hampton Callaway & Liz Callaway bring their award-wining show SIBLING REVELRY to the Bay Area's historic Orinda Theatre as part of the Live At the Orinda concert series. When Tony-nominated sisters Ann Hampton Callaway and Liz Callaway combine musical forces, they put the revelry into rivalry in this award winning show of great songs and witty banter. SIBLING REVELRY was first presented at New Yorks Rainbow and Stars, garnered raves at The Donmar in London, and continues to sell out halls across the country. Separately, of course, they have made names for themselves: ANN HAMPTON CALLAWAY is a multi-award winning and multi-platinum selling singer/songwriter whose songs have been recorded by Liza Minnelli, Pattie LuPone and Barbra Streisand - who's recorded several of Ann's songs and even asked Ann to write the lyrics to her wedding song to actor James Brolin, "I've Dreamed Of You." Ann received a Tony nomination for her Broadway debut in SWING! and is best known for having written and sung the theme song to the classic TV show THE NANNY (with Liz on backing vocals). Many of Ann's thirteen solo albums have appeared on the Billboard Jazz chart, including her latest, "Jazz Goes To the Movies."LIZ CALLAWAY is a Tony nominated Broadway veteran and Emmy Award-winning actress, singer and recording artist. Her many Broadway shows include Stephen Sondheims MERRILY WE ROLL ALONG, BABY (Tony nomination), MISS SAIGON, GODSPELL, and CATS. Liz is also known for singing the Oscar-nominated song Journey to the Past from the animated feature ANASTASCIA. Live At the Orinda opened their One Year Anniversary season with Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony Award winner Rita Moreno in a sold-out concert in January 2019, followed by three-time Tony nominee Carolee Carmello, and Broadway and TV star Telly Leung (Aladdin, GLEE). Following the Callaway's, Live At the Orinda will celebrate the finale of the first half of the season, before a summer break, on Thursday, May 2, 2019, with Broadway and West End star Brent Barrett. This will also mark the Bay Area concert debut of the Olivier Award nominee and star of Phantom Of the Opera, Chicago and Kiss Me Kate.Live At the Orinda concert series debuted at the historic Orinda Theatre in February 2018 with Tony Award winner John Lloyd Young, followed by Golden Globe winner Amanda McBroom, jazz singer Amanda King, Andrea McArdle, Lillias White, Franc DAmbrosio, Lorna Luft, Maureen McGovern and Karen Mason. All shows are presented in an intimate 180-seat theatre inside the art deco Orinda Movie Theatre complex (2, Orinda Theatre Square, Orinda, CA). All seating is reserved, with most tickets from $55 - $100 and no ticket service-charges, nor food or drink minimums. Subscribers enjoy substantial ticket discounts and first choice of reserved seats for the season. Information and tickets: www.lamorindatheatres.com or 925-254-9065.
