Salt Lake Acting Company (SLAC), Utah's leading destination for brave, contemporary theatre, announces the much-anticipated world premiere of Elaine Jarvik's Four Women Talking About the Man Under the Sheet.
Salt Lake Acting Company has announced the postponement of the world premiere of Elaine Jarvik's FOUR WOMEN TALKING ABOUT THE MAN UNDER THE SHEET. The new work, now to be presented August 20 through September 12, was initially postponed to from March 2020 to March 2021 due to the global pandemic.
Salt Lake Acting Company (SLAC), Utah's leading destination for brave, contemporary theatre, presents the world premiere of FOUR WOMEN TALKING ABOUT THE MAN UNDER THE SHEET by Elaine Jarvik. The new work, which marks Jarvik's third play to receive a New Play Sounding Series reading and, subsequently, a full production at SLAC, will run in the Chapel Theatre March 12 through 22, 2020.
In celebration of the 150th anniversary of the first ballot cast by a woman in US history, the 100th anniversary of the ratification of the 19th amendment, and International Women's Day, Salt Lake Acting Company presents a world premiere from Utah's own, Elaine Jarvik.

Salt Lake Acting Company's half-century history is reflected in the expansive body of work it has produced and in the long-standing support of its most open and adventurous audience. SLAC produces seasons of thoughtful, provocative, Regional and World Premieres; nurtures, supports and develops a community of professional artists; produces and supports emerging playwrights; and makes a significant contribution to our community and to American theatre by commissioning, developing and producing new plays. SLAC presents a year-round season of 5 to 7 Regional and World Premieres, reaching an audience of over 37,000 (including a season subscriber base of 3,000), and supporting over 150 professional theatre artists annually. With a budget of $2 million, SLAC works under a Small Professional Theatre contract with Actors' Equity Association—a union for professional theatre artists to secure health and pension benefits and negotiate contract rights.
