A 2020 Kilroys Honoree, the meta, semi-historical piece was originally set to open March 13, 2020, but instead shut down on March 12th due to the pandemic.

Salt Lake Acting Company has announced the postponement of the world premiere of Elaine Jarvik's FOUR WOMEN TALKING ABOUT THE MAN UNDER THE SHEET. The new work, now to be presented August 20 through September 12, was initially postponed to from March 2020 to March 2021 due to the global pandemic.

The new work, which marks Jarvik's third play to receive a New Play Sounding Series reading and, subsequently, a full production at SLAC, will run in the Chapel Theatre March 12 through 22, 2020.

SLAC presents a year-round season of 5 to 7 Regional and World Premieres, reaching an audience of over 37,000 (including a season subscriber base of 3,000), and supporting over 150 professional theatre artists annually. With a budget of $2 million, SLAC works under a Small Professional Theatre contract with Actors' Equity Association—a union for professional theatre artists to secure health and pension benefits and negotiate contract rights.
