An American Musical

April 19 through May 19, 2024

To a town with no future, comes a girl with a past...
Percy is the new girl in town and searching for a new life when she arrives in Gilead, Wisconsin and meets Hannah, who is ready to leave The Spitfire Grill behind. After Percy convinces Hannah to run a contest and raffle off the grill, entries start pouring in from all around the country. Through determination, grit, and remaining open to possibilities, Percy revitalizes the grill and, in turn, the community. The soaring score features several unforgettable songs like “Come Alive Again,” “Colors of Paradise,” “Ice & Snow,” “Wild Bird,” and “Shine.”

The Spitfire Grill opened off-Broadway in 2001 and received the Richard Rodgers Award for new musicals. In this soul-stirring musical, forgiveness and a spirit of hope go a long way in pointing the way home.
