Burning Coal Theatre Company is proud to perform I and You by Lauren Gunderson. The play follows a young teenager, Caroline, who is housebound with a debilitating illness. Forced to stay home while the world spins ever on around her, Caroline grows increasingly bored, angry, and desperate. Then a stranger calls. His name is Anthony, a young black man from her school. He's a member of the basketball team and a star in the firmament of their high schools galaxy of well-liked kids. Although she doesnt know him, Anthony has brought Caroline a gift.Performances begin October 7th with closing night on October 24th, 2021. Evening performances and matinees are available with accommodations and assistive services offered upon request.
