Live at Imago Theatre, 17 SE 8th Ave., Portland, Oregon 97214July 22 - 30, Thursday - Saturday at 7:30 p.m., with one Sunday matinee on July 24 at 2:00 p.m. A collage of soliloquy, choreography, and theatricality la Pirandello.VOICEOVER uses inner monologues in an extremist fashion to expose the muddled minds of a choreographer, his company of dancers, and a contrarian crew of jaded stagehands as the performers stop and start a movement-based work that turns theatre inside out la Pirandello. A collage of soliloquy, choreography, and theatricality, VOICEOVER pushes postmodern dance into vaudevillian hijinks as one unconventional cabaret act plays out in a hall of mirrors where the who, the what, and the where are ever-changing.
