Eight-year-old Tina Denmark, the greatest song-and-dance sensation ever to hit the third grade, has her heart set on the title role in her school musical, Pippi in Tahiti. When Tina is relegated to the chorus to play a puppy dog she becomes homicidal. The newfound star of the show, Louise Lerman, meets a mysterious “accident” at the hands of Tina, who is now ready to don her Pippi wig.
