It's three days before his bid for reelection, and Senator Charles Whitmore of North Carolina has a problem: a Republican and espoused devout Christian, the Senator made an off-the-cuff comment that has been broadcast across the country calling into question his stance on God and guns. "Church & State" is an "enjoyable, thought-provoking, and humorous piece of theatre" (NPR) that explores how religion influences politics and how politics has become a religion, begging us all to take a deeper look at our core beliefs and morals.
