Today we rewind to 2012, when the second Broadway revival of Annie opened at the Palace Theatre, where it ran for 487 performances. Annie features a book by Thomas Meehan, music by Charles Strouse and lyrics by Martin Charnin, with all three authors receiving 1977 Tony Awards for their work.

Today we rewind to 2011 for opening night of Priscilla Queen of the Desert. The musical, directed by Simon Phillips, played for 526 performances at the Palace Theatre.

What started out as a fun project during the 2020 Coronavirus Pandemic quarantine on our private Facebook group evolved into something emotional, nostalgic, and uniquely unifying amidst a very dark and isolated period in humanity. Now, more than a decade after their closing night, 44 cast members of the Broadway revival of 'A Chorus Line' share what brought them all together 'again'. It was... 5, 6, 7, 8.

When it comes to creating an iconic look, costume designer Angela Wendt knows what she's doing. Over two decades after giving Rent its legendary Broadway look, she returns to give the characters equally memorable costumes for Rent on Fox. The band is getting back together! Gettin' The Band Back Together, the upcoming new Broadway musical comedy, which is directed by Tony Award winner John Rando and choreographed by Chris Bailey, will begin preview performances on July 19 at the Belasco Theatre (111 W 44th Street) with the official opening set for August 13.
