Women from the Broadway community have something to say, and they won't keep quiet.

On Friday, October 30, "Ghost Light," a show conceived, produced and co-hosted by Steve Schonberg (theater expert, NBC "Today in New York," "Center On The Aisle") lived up to the expectation of "spectacularly spooky!," as claimed by The Huffington Post. Actually, it was to die for.

After six long years, the wait is finally over! The musical web series THE BATTERY'S DOWN, which wrapped up its final season in late 2009, has returned for a reunion special (which aired on Hulu earlier this week) and a Joe's Pub concert, with performances from original cast members (and some very special guests). BroadwayWorld was there for the special night and you can check out highlights from the concert below!

Elitch Gardens, now in its 21st year downtown since relocating from northwest Denver, remains one of Colorado's the most popular entertainment destinations. It now features a vast array of modern roller-coasters, and because many of 'The 12' cast members from the DCPA Theatre Company are thrill-ride aficionados, the staff at Elitch's invited cast members Tuesday to ride the famous Carousel, which dates back to 1927 - and two coaster rides: The Brain Drain and the Boomerang. Holler If Ya Hear Me, the world inside Tupac Shakur's music and lyrics, blazes to life in a non-biographical story about friendship, family, revenge, change and hope. Inner city lives struggle for peace against the daily challenges they face in this entertaining and original musical. Through the poetry of one of the 20th century's most influential and culturally prominent voices, we are given a window into realities of the streets still relevant today. Poet, musician and actor Saul Williams, will soon star in the Tupac-inspired Broadway musical 'Holler If Ya Hear Me', appeared on last night's THE COLBERT REPORT on Comedy Central.

Ghostlight, the Musical by Tim Realbuto and Matthew Martin, presented a concert a 54 Below on Thursday, March 6th, 2014. Ghostlight premiered at The New York Musical Theatre Festival in 2011 and is slated for a fall workshop before an out-of-town tryout. Click below to watch some of the performances from the concert!

New York City Opera's 2013-14 season and BAM's 2013 Next Wave Festival opened Sept. 17 with the U.S. premiere of Anna Nicole, an opera by composer Mark-Anthony Turnage and librettist Richard Thomas based on the flamboyant life and tragic death of Anna Nicole Smith. This highly anticipated co-production includes seven performances at the BAM Howard Gilman Opera House, on September 17, 19, 21, 24, 25, 27, and 28 at 7:30pm. Children from the Garden of Dreams Foundation auditioned on February 27 in front of celebrities and Broadway stars for a coveted spot in the Foundation's Annual Talent Show on April 16 at Radio City Music Hall. In tribute to '50 Years of Bond,' Kirsten Holly Smith (as Dusty Springfield) and Christina Sajous (as Dusty's lover, Claire), stars of the new musical Forever Dusty, have recorded a music video of 'The Look of Love,' putting a new spin on Burt Bacharach and Hal David's Oscar nominated classic made popular by Dusty Springfield herself from the 1967 James Bond film, Casino Royale. That year, the song famously lost the Academy Award to 'Talk to the Animals' from Doctor Doolittle, but at Sunday's Oscars, Adele is favored to win for her own Bond tune, a new rendition of 'Skyfall.'
