Community League of the Heights (CLOTH) - a Washington Heights-based multi-service not-for-profit community development corporation marks their 60th anniversary with a benefit event today, Monday, October 15th at the Low Memorial Library (535 W. 116th Street) on the campus of Columbia University in New York City.

The Alluvium Group Opens HAPPINESS Tonight, 10/5

The Alluvium Group, in association with Oracle Productions, will present HAPPINESS: THE PURSUIT & OTHER TRAGEDIES. This world premiere musical parable is brought to life by seven performers and a live band through Oracle B*Sides, a department at Oracle that gives more artists the opportunity to produce free art in Public Access Theatre. HAPPINESS opens tonight, October 5, and runs through October 19. Performances at Oracle Theatre are Thursdays through Saturdays at 8PM, Sundays at 5PM. There is a special performance Wednesday, October 17 at 8PM. Press are invited to attend a Press Opening on Thursday, October 4 or any subsequent performances.

Eduardo Placer Replaces Esteban Cruz as Angel in ATC/About Face's RENT

Esteban Cruz has had to permanently leave the cast of American Theater Company/About Face's production of RENT for undisclosed personal reasons. As of today, Wednesday, May 23, the role of Angel will be taken over by Eduardo Placer.
