Lyric Stage will open its 29th season with the hit musical Mamma Mia! August 24-28, 2022 at Dallas' Majestic Theatre.

Cape Rep Theatre is presenting an outdoor production of Mamma Mia! through August 14, 2022. Set on a Greek island paradise and told through the music of ABBA, this is the hilarious story of a mother, a daughter, three possible dads and a wedding you won’t soon forget. MAMMA MIA! THE PARTY, London's premier dining experience, has extended its booking period due to extraordinary demand and is now playing to Sunday 26 February 2023. Tickets for the new booking period at The O2 London are on sale this Friday 22 July.

Skylight Music Theatre has announced its 2022-2023 season which is set to include a world premiere Broadway-bound new musical from Tony-nominated composer Frank Wildhorn, the regional premiere of a revue celebrating Disney's Broadway hits, and the Tim Rice & Andrew Lloyd Webber Evita.

Artistic Director Jeffrey Cass and Executive Director Julie Ann Kornak will present the final show of BrightSide Theatre’s 10th Anniversary Season – BrightSide is Back! The twice postponed production closes out the season with the music of ABBA in the musical that has entertained over 60 million people around the globe -  Mamma Mia!  

From Thursday 7 April 2022, Ellis Dackombe, Tamara Perks and Tasha Sheridan will join the cast of MAMMA MIA! THE PARTY at The O2 London.

Mamma Mia is now playing at La Mirada Theatre For the Performing Arts. Performances will run through Sunday, November 21, at La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts, 14900 La Mirada Blvd in La Mirada.

In October 2001, Mamma Mia! opened on Broadway, just weeks after the horrific events of 9/11, and most pundits had little inkling that the show – a jukebox musical comprised of ABBA hits and the story of a young girl trying to divine the identity of her father from among three of her mother’s suitors some 21 years earlier – would go on to become the ninth longest running musical in the history of the New York theatrical enclave. But Mamma Mia! was exactly what the theater-going public needed in the aftermath of an epoch-shattering and historic event: an enormously entertaining, fast-paced show set to an eminently hummable, danceable score of songs that could whisk them away to another time and place.

Dawson. With performances continuing in the city of La Mirada, CA through Sunday, November 21, this infectiously peppy show---featuring a book by playwright Catherine Johnson that wraps around songs made famous by ABBA---is certainly an invigorating way to welcome theatergoers back for live, in-person performances, especially those looking for a silly, non-serious respite from our current realities. If you're looking for some cute laughs paired with some terrific singing and dancing, this show should fit the bill.
