Dance on the Lawn, Montclair, NJ's outdoor dance festival, will return to the front lawn of St. Luke's Episcopal Church, 73 South Fullerton Avenue, on Saturday, September 7 from 3-5pm. FREE.

Opera Theatre of Montclair presents its fifth full mainstage production, Humperdinck's Hansel and Gretel. This fully-staged, costumed production will be sung in an English translation (from the original German). The show will run approximately 2 hours, 30 minutes with two short intermissions. The 23-piece orchestra will be conducted by Maestro Elizabeth Hastings. The production is double cast with OTM's all-professional singers. Local young singers make up the chorus of Gingerbread Children and the Angels corps de ballet (many of whom are students at Sharron Miller's Academy for the Performing Arts). Stage direction is by Stacey Canterbury Climie, choreography is by Conny Andres and set design is by David Gillam and Joyce Korotkin.
