London director, Ian Marshall Fisher has rediscovered the long lost play written by the unique collaboration of Orson Welles and Cole Porter, AROUND THE WORLD. This historical Welles and Porter partnership (Citizen Kane & Touch Of Evil meets Kiss Me, Kate & Anything Goes) is based on their take on Jules Verne's Around The World in 80 Days. AROUND THE WORLD will play a series of 'Benefit/Fundraising' performances in London's Lilian Baylis Theatre, Sadler's Wells, and will be unveiled to Americans for the first time in over seventy years at New York's Mint Theatre.

The unknown play written by Orson Welles and Cole Porter Around The World, based on Jules Verne's Around The World in 80 Days, is to play a series of benefit performances in London's Sadler's Wells and New York City's Mint Theater. The performances are fundraising events for The Lost Musicals Charitable Trust (UK). This production marks the first time it will be seen in NYC since the original production in 1946. Some 70 years after the original Broadway production, a new generation of New Yorkers will get the rare opportunity of seeing Around The World.

Juilliard Dance, under the direction of Lawrence Rhodes, presents New Dances PLUS: Edition 2013 from December 11-15, 2013featuring Juilliard alumna Pina Bausch's Wind von West (Wind from the West) performed by 4th-Year Dancers, plus three world premiere commissions created for each of the classes of Juilliard's Dance Division. This year's innovative choreographers are Juilliard alumnus Takehiro Ueyama (1st-Year Dancers); Brian Brooks (2nd-Year Dancers); and Juilliard alumnus Darrell Grand Moultrie (3rd-Year Dancers).

Jerry Ruiz (Love Goes to Press, Basilica) directs a cast that includes Cliff Bemis, Teddy Bergman, Bernardo Cubria, Carole Healey, Christine Toy Johnson, Kathryn Kates (replacing the previously announced Jennifer Harmon), Natalie Kuhn, Brian MacDonald, Jennifer McVey and Rachel Moulton. Philip Goes Forth will have scenic design by Steven C. Kemp, costume design by Carisa Kelly, lighting design by Christian DeAngelis, and sound design by Toby Algya. Performances began on August 24th and continue through October 20th. Opening Night is set for tonight, September 22nd at Mint's home (311 West 43rd Street). New York City Center is celebrating the 10th Anniversary of the Fall for Dance Festival with a very special season, beginning with two free evenings of dance at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park, hosted by The Public Theater, on September 16 and 17 (rain date, September 18). The Festival will continue at City Center from September 25 - October 5 with performances by 20 acclaimed dance companies and artists from around the world, including three new works from today's most exciting young choreographers, commissioned by New York City Center in celebration of the tenth anniversary.

The Dance Theatre of Harlem (DTH) held its Vision 2013 Gala honoring actress/singer Vanessa L. Williams on February 26th at the Mandarin Hotel in New York City. Dance Theatre of Harlem (DTH) will make its highly anticipated return to the New York stage at Jazz at Lincoln Center's Frederick P. Rose Hall, Time Warner Center, New York City on Wednesday, April 10, for six performances through April 14.

With a much anticipated return to the stage after an 8-year hiatus, the Dance Theatre of Harlem (DTH) performs its first public performance at The Kentucky Center and hosts the world-premiere of Gloria, a one-act ballet choreographed by Robert Garland with music by Francis Poulenc.

Jacob's Pillow Dance, home of America's longest-running international dance festival, has enjoyed a long history with Dance Theatre of Harlem. Founded to create opportunities for minority dancers at a time when they were not welcome in established classical companies, Dance Theatre of Harlem made its first professional appearances at the Pillow in 1970, the same year the company was launched.
