What did our critic think of THE PROM at University Of Arkansas Fayetteville? For day two of visiting The University of Arkansas in Fayetteville Theatre program, I was able to catch THE PROM by Bob Martin, Chad Beguelin, and Matthew Sklar. Not knowing what it was about or who was in it, I went inside University Theater with an almost packed house of U of A students.

A musicalized version of Take the Lead is in the works, with a developmental workshop underway this month in New York City.

This Sunday, October 22nd, fans of the show, those who saw it and want to re-live the experience, and those who missed the live event but now have another chance, even the entertainers  – can hear the concert in its entirety on WMHT radio.

Clocking in at nearly two hours and featuring six extended pieces flowing across two discs, Universal Tonality documents a performance that took place at Roulette in Manhattan's TriBeCa neighborhood in December 2002 (one of the final concerts at the venue's original loft space). Even before landing, COPA Airlines, a sponsor, plays  a dazzling trailer - the first tease. Then, on a walk through the terminal, stroll through the Casco Viejo or expedition to the famous Canal, posters featuring the Panamanian cast greet you everywhere, for #VisitPanama is also a sponsor. All of these high profile sponsors and supporters have rallied behind the Panama The Musical and vocalized their belief in its value to the Nation. So what's the big deal? New musicals are a common occurrence. But for Panama, this is a first!
