This week (Nov. 27 - Dec.1), Joe's Pub wil feature INNA BARMASH, MICHAEL CERVERIS, CARL HANCOCK RUX, MIKE VIOLA, PIERCE TURNER, OUR LADY J, REVEREND BILLY & THE STOP SHOPPING CHOIR, KENNY ENDO AND KAORU WATANABE'S CONVERGENCE, and JOEY ARIAS.

Joe's Pub at The Public welcomes the faithful and the faithless this holiday season with a winter program that includes Yiddish lullabies, kvetching, yuletide cheer, anti-consumerist sermons, sports, jazz, storytelling and of course Sandra Bernhard's hilarious and entertaining end-of-year free for all.

This November and December Joe's Pub at The Public presents five performances of Reverend Billy & The Stop Shopping Choir in Earthalujah, directed by Savitri D with music director Nehemiah Luckett and featuring a 35-member choir and music from the 5-piece Not Buying It Band. Prosecutors are demanding a year in prison and $30k bail for William Talen (aka Reverend Billy) and Nehemiah Luckett, Music Director of the Reverend's Church of Stop Shopping, for a recent performance the Stop Shopping Choir, costumed as extinct toads, gave in a JP Morgan Chase bank in Manhattan. The 15-minute performance in the Chase Bank has earned criminal charges of "Riot," "Menacing" and "Unlawful Assembly."

This fall, the sexy, soulful new musical comedy DIAL 'N' FOR NEGRESS will have its world premiere engagement for 16 performances only -- Thursday, September 10 through Saturday, September 26, 2009 -- at the Clurman Theatre on Theatre Row (410 W. 42nd St., NYC). Opening Night is Friday, September 11.

On Friday, September 5, at 8pm the Midtown International Theater Festival Awards will take place. The MITF Awards will honor the best shows and performances from the recently completed Ninth Annual Midtown InterNational Theatre Festival, which took place from July 14-August 10 of this year.

Love, Death, and Vengeance: A Comedy written by Daniel Kelley and directed by Anthony C.E. Nelson premieres at The Gene Frankel Theatre (24 Bond Street) on December 6 at 8PM.
