The Music Man has extended its Broadway run by popular demand.  Originally announced to close on January 1, the revival of Meredith Willson’s musical, starring two-time Tony Award®, Grammy Award®, and Emmy Award®-winning star Hugh Jackman as Professor Harold Hill and two-time Tony Award winner Sutton Foster as Marian Paroo, will now play its positively final Broadway performance on Sunday, January 15, 2023.

The official cast recording of the Broadway revival of Meredith Willson’s The Music Man, starring two-time Tony Award, Grammy Award, and Emmy Award-winning star Hugh Jackman as Professor Harold Hill and two-time Tony Award winner Sutton Foster as Marian Paroo, will be released this Friday, September 23 at 10 AM ET.

The Music Man will end its Broadway run on January 1, 2023. The revival of Meredith Willson’s musical, starring two-time Tony Award®, Grammy Award®, and Emmy Award®-winning star Hugh Jackman as Professor Harold Hill and two-time Tony Award winner Sutton Foster as Marian Paroo, will have played 358 regular and 46 preview performances by the time it takes its final bow.

In the new book Miracle of The Music Man, author Mark Cabaniss steps back into the Golden Age of Broadway and brings to life the origins of this classic show, the music behind it, and the unlikely story of its creator.

The Music Man, a co-production with the Clay Center, will play at the Maier Performance Hall on October 28-30 and November 4-6, 2022.

The Gramercy Brass Orchestra's 40th Anniversary Concert for NYC will take place on Monday, September 12 at 6 PM, outdoors on Irving Place, between East 19th and 20th Streets and 3rd Avenue and Park Avenue South in Manhattan. The event is free to the public.
