San Francisco's 42nd Street Moon presents the Bay Area regional premiere of 2012's Tony Award-winning 'Best Musical' ONCE. Based on the 2007 motion picture written and directed by John Carney, ONCE features a book by Enda Walsh (2012 Tony Award-winner, 'Best Book of a Musical') and a score by Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova (including the 2008 Academy Award-winning song 'Falling Slowly'). 42nd Street Moon's production of ONCE runs from June 12 - 30, 2019 and will perform at San Francisco's Gateway Theatre (215 Jackson St, San Francisco, CA 94111). Seattle based artist Lizzie Weber is very excited to announce the premiere of her new single, “When You Look At Me,” with The Bluegrass Situation. Weber will be performing the song when she appears at The Hotel Café in Los Angeles on June 20. You can find “When You Look At Me” here!

There is something magical and monumental happening on the stage of the Warner Theatre in Torrington, CT. Granted, theatre is inherently magical by nature, but in the Warner Stage Company's production of ONCE, something extra, something ethereal, and something heart-wrenchingly beautiful is taking place. I feel privileged to have been able to witness it.

Ever since I saw Once on tour, I've been intrigued how it would do regionally. The show itself isn't necessarily complicated, but you need to find actors who can sing well and play a variety of instruments while maintaining accents, or the show just doesn't work.

The HAMILTON star and his pro partner, Lindsay Arnold, performed a contemporary dance set to 'Take Me Home' by Us the Duo, and the stunning number moved many to tears, including Jordan himself.
