Nominees have been reveale for The 10th annual SHORTY AWARDS. The awards recognize the best of social media, including influencers, brands, and organizations on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Tumblr, Instagram, Snapchat, and more. The Awards also honor the Best in Comedy as well as Best TV Show.

Aaron Jackson & Josh Sharp (The Opposition with Jordan Klepper) host a gay show for all people filled with songs and laughs from comics and queers and mostly people who are both.

The seventh annual MOONTOWER COMEDY FESTIVAL, along with producers the Paramount Theatre and sponsors Cap City Comedy Club, has announced additional comics to the 2018 lineup, including multiple headlining acts performing at Stateside at the Paramount as well as a variety of comedians playing shows at Moontower satellite venues throughout Austin. Laughter is the Best Resistance, featured standup from leading women comedians in addition to a short performance from Ms. Foundation Founding Mother, Gloria Steinem.

On Today, November 29, the Ms. Foundation for Women will celebrate Laughter is the Best Resistance, its 22nd Comedy Night at Carolines on Broadway in New York City. Laughter is the Best Resistance will feature standup from Ashley Nicole Black (Full Frontal with Samantha Bee), Jena Friedman (Adult Swim's 2018 The Jena Friedman Show, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, Late Show with David Letterman), award-winning writer and producer Judy Gold (The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Showtime's I'm Dying Up Here, host of Kill Me Now with Judy Gold podcast), Jen Kirkman (Jen Kirkman: Just Keep Livin?, I Can Barely Take Care of Myself, I Know What I'm Doing and Other Lies I Tell Myself), Dulc Sloan (The Daily Show with Trevor Noah), and Liza Treyger (Glittercheese). Proceeds from ticket sales will benefit the Ms. Foundation's work to ensure the economic justice, reproductive justice, and safety for all women.
