Los Angeles actress and singer Laura Wolfe will perform her new one-woman show 'Back In Business' on Sunday, November 14, 2021 at the Arthur Newman Theater in Palm Desert.

Abingdon Theatre Company has announced an array of programming – albeit virtual! - for the remainder of its 2020-2021 season. In honor of World AIDS Day – tomorrow, Tuesday, December 1, Abingdon Theatre Company will be a co-producer for the virtual revival of “Elegies for Angels, Punks and Raging Queens,” to benefit BC/EFA.

The Group Rep presents Moss Hart and George S. Kaufman's beloved farce THE MAN WHO CAME TO DINNER, directed by Bruce Kimmel, produced by Doug Haverty. The comedy classic takes place a few weeks before Christmas in small town USA, after a famously outlandish NYC radio personality is invited to dine at the house of the well-to-do local factory owner. But this sharp-tongued celebrity slips on a patch of ice outside the front door and injures his hip. Confined to the house for a month, he drives his hosts mad by insulting them, monopolizing their world, wreaking havoc with romantic antics and receiving a constant stream of bizarre guests, including performers, scientists, penguins and even paroled convicts. As Christmas Day approaches mayhem ensues and fate delivers a comeuppance.

What If? A Musical Revue directed by Bruce Kimmel, produced by Doug Haverty, with musical direction by Richard Allen, returns to Los Angeles for Two Nights only, Wednesday, October 23 and Thursday, October 24 at 8:00 pm, as a fundraiser for The Group Rep Theatre Company at the Lonny Chapman Theatre, one of the oldest producing theatre companies in greater Los Angeles.

The 101st Kritzerland show is also the ninth anniversary show!  Yes, it's Kritzerland's ninth anniversary and it's going to be a fun show, filled with classic songs from musical theatre and film, and, as always, some incredibly rare material you won't hear at any other shows.  Kritzerland did its very first show in September 2010 and the shows are still going strong. 

For the 98th Kritzerland show, it's our annual May madness show, which, like our crazy April Fools show, is equally mad and wild, with some pretty stuff thrown in, too. 

Art-In-Relation (A.I.R.), is thrilled to announce the Los Angeles proper premiere of John Bucchino's 'It's Only Life'. Filled with a hauntingly beautiful score, this production focuses on the choices made by artists between their art and their lives on and off the stage.

The inaugural BROADWAY'S GOT GUTS event was a spectacular evening of wonderful entertainment by Broadway's brightest singing the wonderful standards and hits sung by the late, great Nancy LaMott with proceeds supporting the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America's on November 2, 2015 at the Friars Club. Mimi Stern-Wolfe, pianist, and Laura Wolfe, singer/songwriter, will appear Sunday December 14 at 7 PM at The Pangea in a delightful program of songs by Joni Mitchell, original songs by Laura, a Harold Rome favorite, and some Lower East Side-influenced music by the mother & daughter team who are longtime Lower East Side residents.

Laura Osnes, Santino Fontana, Betsy Wolfe, Andrew Samonsky, John Ellison Conlee, Ann Harada and more starred in Transport Group's concert presentation of THE MUSIC MAN. Hosted by Joe Iconis, the evening included 58 actors, and the original orchestration featuring 20 instruments, conducted by Joey Chancey, original choreography by Jeffry Denman. 'Finnegan's Wake', a popular Irish ballad, from the music hall tradition, and made famous by The Clancy Brothers, invokes the joy of living among the rowdy Irish, telling how, through the perils of liquor, a man falls and then rises to live again.
