New York Theatre Workshop has announced its Holiday Follies on December 16, as well as the launch of the NYTW Digital Archive which will include a work-in-process sneak preview of Martha Redbone & Aaron Whitby’s The Talking Circles exclusively for NYTW Members and Repeat Defenders.

Today the Rubin Museum of Art launched a new participatory installation, The Lotus Effect, in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Lotuses take root in murky waters and burst into beautiful bloom above the surface.

With the current theatre world on hiatus, I have created a Spotlight Series on Broadway World which features interviews with some of the many talented artists who make our Los Angeles theatre community so exciting and vibrant thanks to their ongoing contribution to keeping the Arts alive in the City of the Angels. And just like all of us, I wondered how they are dealing with the abrupt end of productions in which they were involved. This Spotlight focuses on Kathleen Rubin whose musical theatre background led her to The Angel City Chorale and directing on Los Angeles stages.

ESPN will air two versions of the 30 for 30 documentary 'LANCE' over the next two Sundays (Part 1 on May 24th and Part 2 on May 31st). As with 'The Last Dance,' a version containing strong adult language will air on ESPN and a version edited for that language will air simultaneously on ESPN2.
