The 13th season of New York Theatre Barn's signature New Works Series continues Monday, April 6th, 2020, with exclusive pre-premieres of the new musicals HoT and Dimes. New York Theatre Barn serves as a home for new musicals during incubation.

HADESTOWN won the Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album, and celebrated with an on-stage presentation with the Grammy statue!

Hadestown has won the Grammy for Best Musical Theater Album! The announcement was made during the Grammy Awards Premiere Ceremony on Sunday, January 26. 

On Friday, January 10th at 1 pm,  Tony Award-winning Hadestown held an added special performance for The Actors Fund. It was the first special performance of 2020 for The Actors Fund.  Tony Award winner André De Shields rocked the house after the performance with a 'curtain sermon' about The Actors Fund that will be long remembered.

Hadestown has joined the Broadway 2020 lineup for an exclusive MainStage Spotlight Session on Sunday, January 26, 2020.

Directed & Choreographed by Josh Rhodes (Bright Star, Cinderella), Music Direction by David Holcenberg (Groundhog Day, Matilda), with book, music, and lyrics by Michael Heitzman & Ilene Reid. 

The Tony Award winning and Grammy nominated cast of Hadestown donated a special matinee performance at The Walter Kerr Theatre on January 10 to The Actors Fund.

Hadestown recently celebrated 250 performances on Broadway!

We're going way down to Hadestown thanks to the show's three Fates: Jewelle Blackman, Yvette Gonzalez-Nacer and Kay Trinidad. The trio took to TikTok for a behind the scenes look at their process of getting ready to bring the underworld to the stage of Broadway's Walter Kerr Theatre. Apple's CEO Tim Cook recently stopped by HADESTOWN at the Walter Kerr and visited with Tony Award winners André De Shields, Anais Mitchell, Rachel Chavkin, Rachel Hauck; cast members Patrick Page, Reeve Carney, Eva Noblezada and more backstage and posed for photos after the performance.

Today, Sing It Again Records announced that the Original Broadway Cast Recording of Hadestown, winner of eight Tony Awards including Best Musical, will be available on CD starting Friday, November 1 and vinyl Black Friday, November 29.

Tony Award-winning Broadway veteran Ben Vereen recently stopped by HADESTOWN at the Walter Kerr and visited with Tony Award winner André De Shields, who missed him when Mr. Vereen attended opening night.  Following the performance, Mr. Vereen met other cast members backstage and posed for photos. 

The Hadestown Original Broadway Cast Recording is already topping charts! The album debut at #1 last week on the cast albums chart.
