Harbor Lights' production of the landmark 1996 Tony and Pulitzer Prize winning musical RENT will be helmed by award winning director Alex Perez. The production begins tonight, September 18, and runs through October 4, 2015 at The Music Hall at Snug Harbor.

Performers at the 10 PM concert include Alexandra Silber (Grammy Nominee), Alexis Michelle (Winner of So You Think You Can Drag), Ian Fairlee, Hillary Fisher, Travis Kent, Ragan Pharris, Lexi Rabadi, Josephine Spada and Sam Swenson; with musical direction by Curtis Reynolds.

The hugely talented national tour cast of Green Day-penned Broadway rock musical AMERICAN IDIOT showed off their penchant for contemporary music with a spectacular rock showcase earlier this month and an extensive collection of clips from the performance are now available to view.

Unable to see AMERICAN IDIOT in New York City, I am so happy that the Third National Tour finally brought the show to Houston, TX. This lively, youthful cast owns every moment of this explosive and exhilarating AMERICAN IDIOT, and I can't imagine any other cast performing this rollicking, raucous piece as well as they do. Every human on the stage gives this show everything they can, and the end result is something I'll cherish for years to come.

The national tour of Green Day's AMERICAN IDIOT comes to Broward Center for the Performing Arts on March 25th.
