Northrop at the University of Minnesota announces single tickets go on-sale today, August 5 for its 2013-14 Northrop Season, which features world-class dance, including copresentations with The O'Shaughnessy at St. Catherine University's Women of Substance and Walker Art Center. Single tickets will be sold through each venue. Series packages continue to be on sale through Northrop.

On the night when baseball's all-stars were blasting dingers into the bleachers of Yankee Stadium, the cast of Scott Siegel's A Night At The Operetta, was having their own home run derby on the stage of Town Hall, knocking melodies by Victor Herbert, Sigmund Romberg and Rudolf Friml out of the park.  And in both cases, the crowd frequently went nuts.

Michael Riedel of the New York Post is reporting that Hal Prince, after suffering a stroke back in January, is back to work and already working on his next Broadway Production. In an exclusive interview Prince states that he will be producing and directing his 61st Broadway show, Paradise Found and will be aiming for opening sometime in the spring.

Legendary producer/director Harold Prince--who currently has twenty Tony Awards (including two Special Tony Awards) on his mantle--will add a Tony for Lifetime Achievement in the Theatre

Variety reports that Harold Prince has lined up two new tuners to work on, LoveMusik, followed by Paradise Lost.
