Casting is being announced for the Broadway return of THE BOOK OF MORMON. The production, the winner of nine 2011 Tony Awards including Best Musical and the Grammy for Best Musical Theatre Album, resumes performances on Friday, November 5, 2021 at the Eugene O’Neill Theatre (230 West 49th Street). 

This fully realized Public Works Virginia production uses a pageantry style of music, movement and large scale puppetry to tell the story of Hampton Roads. Cameo performance groups include Teens With a Purpose, Atumpan Edutainment, and Philippine Cultural Center School of Creative and Performing Arts, and Red Crook-ed Sky.

Viewers see first-hand, the fascinating creative process that is the development of an original musical production — from inspiring challenges to creative conflicts and uplifting moments — as portions of each of the four musicals are rehearsed and unveiled for television audiences each week.

Broadway stars are belting out “Make Them Hear You” from the musical Ragtime to encourage Georgia voters to support both Democratic candidates, Jon Ossoff and Reverend Raphael Warnock, in the U.S Senate runoff on January 5th 2021.

On Tuesday, December 15 at 8pm EST, tune in for Georgia Artists for Georgia’s Future: A Benefit Concert to Flip the Senate! The one-night event stars and celebrates performers, playwrights, and politicians born in or currently living in Georgia, and benefits the Rev. Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff Senate campaigns.

New American musical in development Letters to the President has released a music video of “So Far to Go,” written by Ronvé O’Daniel and Jevares Myrick. The video is now streaming online as part of O’Daniel and Myrick’s newly launched Composer and Lyricist Artist Channel on Broadway on Demand.
