BWW Reviews: A CHORUS LINE at Seattle Musical Theatre

For musical theaters "A Chorus Line" is pretty much the holy grail of musicals. Most people love it and it has some of the most iconic and recognizable songs and characters out there. But few theaters are brave enough to tackle it especially smaller regional or community theaters, and with good reason. You basically need an entire stage of ethnically diverse triple threats (amazing dancers, singers and actors) to pull it off. And while I don't think I saw any true triple threats at SMT's current production, I did see a few two and a halfs and a bunch of twos.

U-M Works With Royal Shakespeare Co. To Develop New Plays

The Royal Shakespeare Company and the University of Michigan will work together to develop three new plays, including a reconstruction of a 'lost' play credited to William Shakespeare and his contemporary, John Fletcher.

Star of RSC's DAY OF SIGNIFICANCE Sidelined Due to Injury

The star of Royal Shakespeare Company's DAY OF SIGNIFICANCE will miss a week of performances due to an injury obtained during the production. British actor George Rainsford is expected to be back for opening night of the production. DAY OF SIGNIFICANCE centers around a group of soldiers preparing for deployment to Iraq.
