Chicago Tap Theatre (CTT) has announcedthe 2023-2024 season and also highlight Jennifer Yonally and Dancer Molly Smith's new roles at Chicago Tap Theatre. 

See Chicago Dance, the dance industry's nonprofit service organization, and its Executive Director Julia Mayer, kicked off their 10th Chicago Dance Month, this year in conjunction with the city’s Year of Chicago Dance campaign, Saturday, May 28 at Navy Pier’s Lake Stage. The launch included a sample of Chicago’s dance community and 2022 Chicago Dance Month offerings.

Artistic Director Mark Yonally and Chicago Tap Theatre (CTT) bring audiences live music, a touch of magic and boundless energy with the return of their annual Tidings of Tap!, a warm and wondrous celebration of tap dance and the winter season, Sunday, Dec. 15 at 3 p.m. at the North Shore Center for the Performing Arts, 9501 Skokie Blvd., Skokie, IL. Randolph St.  Sweet Tap Chicago is a celebration of Chicago musicians and music, with all new arrangements by Kurt Schweitz, a live jazz quintet featuring rapper/singer/host Taylor Mallory and tap dancing.  Musicians and bands to be covered include Chicago, Smashing Pumpkins, Chaka Khan, Curtis Mayfield and more. Doors open one hour prior to start time and the running time of the performance is one hour and twenty minutes including one short break. Tickets are $40 for reserved admission seating and may be purchased at ChicagoTapTheatre.com, by calling 800-440-8539 or at the door, pending availability.
