On November 20 and 21 'The Hip Hop Nutcracker' returns to the United Palace (4140 Broadway at 175th Street, NY, NY) to kick off a 12-city tour, including Miami, Atlanta, St. Paul, Charleston, Charlotte, and Moscow, Russia.

Holiday magic is coming to New York City's most enchanting theatre when The Hip Hop Nutcracker makes its debut at the United Palace, Manhattan's 4th largest theatre, on Sunday, December 7 at 5pm. The Hip Hop Nutcracker is directed and choreographed by Jennifer Weber of the Brooklyn-based all femalle hip-hop company Decadancetheatre, and is adapted to contemporary New York City by Mike Fitelson. The production is set to Tchaikovsky's The Nutcracker with hip hop interludes remixed and re-imagined by DJ Boo and violinist Filip Pogády.

NJPAC announces two new shows that go on sale Friday, September 5th 2014 at 10am, Don't miss the Exclusive N.J. engagement of a holiday mash-up for the whole family! A Hip Hop Nutcracker Friday, December 5th at 8pm and Saturday December 6 at 2pm, see reimagines Tchaikovsky's classic score through explosive hip-hop choreography. A dozen all-star dancers, DJ, MC, and digital scenery bring the traditional Nutcracker story to life with a contemporary urban twist.

Jacob's Pillow Executive and Artistic Director Ella Baff brings together some of today's most innovative hip-hop dancemakers for a new, Pillow-exclusive production. Unreal Hip-Hop features the diverse styles of Brooklyn-based crew Decadancetheatre, b-girl Ephrat 'Bounce' Asherie, freestyle and pop 'n' lock duo The Wondertwins, plus the musical stylings of DJ Boo. These artists can only be seen together at the Pillow, today, June 25-29 in the Doris Duke Theatre.

3-Legged Dog has announced that groundbreaking Decadancetheatre will perform this weekend only as part of their 3LD/336 Residency Grant, with performances on Friday March 29 at 11:30 AM and Saturday March 30 at 3 PM & 8 PM.
