Internationally-acclaimed actor, pianist, and filmmaker Hershey Felder packed the house and raised the roof while also raising more than $140,000 for TheatreWorks Silicon Valley.

The opera will be presented in Portuguese and will feature black artists, such as soprano Marly Montoni and tenors Jean William and Mar Oliveira among the main characters; with Priscila Bomfim in the musical direction and Julianna Santos in the scenic direction. In celebration of Children's Day, there will be a performance on October 12th, at 5pm.

La Secretaría de Cultura del Gobierno de México y el Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes y Literatura (Inbal), a través de la Coordinación Nacional de Música y Ópera (CNMO), continúa con la celebración del 150 aniversario del natalicio del compositor ruso Sergei Rajmáninov consistente en presentar la integral de su música de cámara a lo largo del año. Ahora presentará a Rodolfo Ritter al piano, acompañado por el Cuarteto Latinoamericano, integrado por Saúl Bitrán, violín I; Arón Bitrán, violín II; Javier Montiel, viola, y Álvaro Bitrán, violonchelo.
